With all the controversy surrounding Uber and Lyft, one major positive effect on society is their ability to reduce drunk driving accidents.

Several non-profits, government agencies, and businesses have partnered with Uber, Lyft, and local taxi companies to provide discounted or free rides to those celebrating New Years Eve. We spent all day manually compiling a list of all the companies and government agencies providing discounted or free rides on New Years eve – and organized it by state/city.

Most of the time the promo codes and discounts that Uber and Lyft provide are for new riders only. In rare occasions, discounts are providers to existing members – and New Years is one such exception.
